Teotihuacan is the most important city of the prehispanic Mexico. Its indescribable universal value is appreciated in the geometric layout of its urban layout that used as a model of many prehispanic cities.
Excepcional arqueological zone where the pyramids of the sun and moon stand out.
The arqueological Teotihuacan richness gives it the recognized by the UNESCO and inscribed in the list as a world heritage the december 11 of 1987.
This great city, had an extention of 22 squares Km, that contained almost two thousand of housing complexes, distributed in four quadrants divided by the Calzada de los muertos and the sun square.
Now a days we can only see the 5% of the original city and visit three housing complexes: Tetitla, Atetelco and Tepantitla, also the Moon square, the Sun square and the citadel.

Teotihuacan cost and access schedules
Always open at 8:00 to 17:00 hours, in sundays the ticket is free to nationals and every day to students, teachers and third ages.
The access per person cost is 70.00 pesos and the parking lot cost is 47.00 pesos for cars, 80.00 vehicles of 11 to 20 passengers, more than 20 passengers is $160.00 and motorcycle $20.00.
With your personal and parking tickets to the ATMZ you can also access to the museums and housing complexes.
